Hello there! I'm a former educator with a passion for helping teachers and school personnel secure the retirement they truly deserve. My journey in education began in Kansas City, where I spent around five fulfilling years both in my own classroom and as a substitute teacher. If life had followed its natural course, I'd now be preparing for my well-earned retirement as an educator.

However, life had different plans for me, leading me to North Carolina, where I found myself managing Food Lion's Sampling Department. It was during this time that fate intervened, introducing me to ValuTeachers. Funny how a chance encounter ignited a deep-seated mission within me – to ensure that no teacher or school personnel is left behind when it comes to planning for their retirement.

With over two decades of experience working primarily in schools and districts across North Carolina, I've dedicated my life to educating and assisting educators in crafting a secure future beyond their careers in education. My unwavering goal is to empower you with knowledge and understanding of your state's retirement system.
